Oruvail detailed information:
Oruvail is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) effective in treating fever, pain, and inflammation in the body. As a group, NSAIDs are non-narcotic relievers of mild to moderate pain of many causes, including injury, menstrual cramps, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Ketoprofen is the substance in Oruvail and works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
Ketoprofen is also used to reduce pain, inflammation, and stiffness caused by many conditions, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and abdominal cramps associated with menstruation and is used for the treatment of inflammation and pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, as well as soft tissue injuries, such as tendinitis and bursitis. Oruvail is slowly released into the blood and is generally not useful in situations where prompt pain relief is desired. Ketoprofen is especially helpful for the pain of bruises and sprains. Its anti-inflammatory effects make it useful for tendonitis.
You can take Oruvail with food, an antacid, or milk to minimize side effects. If ketoprofen is being used for arthritis treatment, be sure to take it regularly. It should also be taken with a full glass of water or other fluid. Do not use them for more than 3 days for fever or 10 days for pain.
