Clenbuterol is a widely used bronchodilator in many parts of the world. It is indicated for the treatment of bronchial asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, chronic and acute spastic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, etc. It is most often prepared in 2Omcg tablets, but Clenbuterol is also available in syrup and injectable form.
The usuall daily dosage range between 20-60 micrograms. A dose of about 150 micrograms should never be exceeded in a day.
Syrup is administered to children:
- below 8 months - 2.5 ml, 2 times daily
- from 8 months to 2 years - 5 ml, 2 times daily
- from 2 to 4 years - 7.5 ml, 2 times daily
- from 4 to 6 years - 10 ml, 2 times daily
- from 6 to 12 years - 15 ml, 2 times daily
